Superbox maintenance and honey extraction techniques

Mr. K. Thangarajasingam (Resource person to facilitate apiculture) visited the Department of Bio-science, University of Vavuniya on 27th December 2022 9 am – 2 pm to conduct a follow-up training on superbox maintenance and honey extraction techniques (under the AHEAD Dept. DP). Level 3 undergraduates at the Department of Bio-science benefitted from field training and in-class session for the course module ENS3153 Environmental Biotechnology. The visit has been arranged by Dr. (Ms.) J. Nimalan and coordinated by Mr. G. Naveendrakumar (Activity Coordinator/AHEAD Dept. DP) under the AHEAD grant for sub-activity 1.1/1.2.
