[AHEAD Dept. DP] Safety measures to live with Covid-19

In order to enhance and integrate Environmental Education Programs with Outcome-Based Education (OBE), first-year Environmental Science students prepared Banners on ‘Safety measures to live with COVID-19’ and displayed them in six identified public locations in Vavuniya. This was carried out for the partial fulfillment of the course unit ENS1232 (Environmental Sanitation). The message was conveyed to the public in all three languages, with prior approval from the Regional Director of Health Services, Vavuniya. The activity was supported and facilitated by senior students of the Environmental Science study program. World Bank funded this through AHEAD ELTA-ELSE, Department DP of the Department of Bio-Science, Faculty of Applied Science, Vavuniya Campus.
