Observation of Research Vessel
Mr A.E.S. Patrick (Senior Lecturer and lecturer-in-charge of the course module ENS3222 – Marine Environment and Management) participated in the observation of Research Vessel Dr. Fridtjof Nansen on 23rd June 2018 Colombo Port. He was nominated by the National Aquatic Resources Research and Development Agency (NARA) of Sri Lanka for the particular observation visit.
The ship itself has all facilities for marine environment research activities, including sea water chemistry, Plankton sampling, GIS facilities, Ecological surveys, Fisheries biology, Eco sounding, etc.
