Professor Terrence Madhujith is the Deputy Vice Chancellor of University of Peradeniya. He is a chair professor of Food science and Technology at University of Peradeniya.<\/p>

His areas of research interests include Lipid oxidation, Trans fat, Antioxidants, Plant bioactives, Probiotics& prebiotics, Food safety, Lifestyle modification and non-communicable diseases.<\/p>

He has more than 250 publications in international and local peer-reviewed journals, and international and local conferences.<\/p>

He received awards for his research studies including National Research Council merit award, Tier 4* research excellence award and best presentation and best poster awards.
Currently, he serves as a visiting professor at Harbin University of Commerce, China and served as a visiting professor at University of Guelph, ON, Canada in 2019.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Dr Sivananthan Sarasanandarajah is a Senior Scientist at Peter Mac Callum Cancer & Research Institute and Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences, in Monash University, Australia (equivalent to an Associate Professor in North America). Dr Sivananthan has extensive clinical and academic experience in medical physics at various leading Cancer Institutes and Universities in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Sweden, Canada and Sri Lanka. He also worked as an International Medical Physics Expert with a diplomatic status at International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in the United Nations in Vienna, Austria. He has initiated, led, managed and coordinated various radiotherapy projects including medical physics education and training projects. He was responsible for establishing and harmonising medical physics and medical radiation science educational programs in Vietnam, Nepal, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Myanmar and United Arab Emirates and was responsible for leading and coordinating medical physics educational & training projects involving 21 countries in the Asia, pacific and Arabic regions. He was also responsible for guiding international code of practices, guidelines and coordinated research projects in medical physics involving developed and developing countries.<\/p>

Dr Sivananthan has obtained a PhD in medical physics, a Post Graduate Diploma in Science in Medical Physics with Distinction, and a Certificate in Physics Education from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, \u00a0M.Sc in Medical Physics from University of Peradeniya and a B.Sc (Honours) degree in Physics from University of Jaffna. Siva\u00a0has authored and co-authored numerous research papers in international peer reviewed scientific journals & Conference proceedings. His PhD research work led to a new invention and he was named as a co-inventor of two international patents.\u00a0This invention is currently being commercialized. Siva also contributes to the medical physics and radiotherapy\/radiography education programs and supervises students in a number of Sri Lankan Universities. Siva has been a recipient of a number of internationally competitive awards, scholarships and fellowships including the highly competitive Australia\u2019s Endeavour Executive Award for high achievement by the Australian Government.
